This 11-pound cutie pie is named Diesel. He was adopted by Audrey 5 weeks ago but she needs to rehome him because he wants to play with her large, elderly dog and her senior doesn't want to play and is getting stressed with the addition of Diesel to the family. Call or text Audrey at 512-621-6406 to discuss Diesel to see if he is a good fit for your family.
Here is what a great fit for Diesel looks like: A loving person or people who are home a lot, want an affectionate small dog, have friendly playful resident dog(s) or not, no kids in the home. Diesel's family needs to almost always have a person in the home such as being retired or working from home.
Audrey shared that he has separation anxiety and needs to be with his people to feel safe and secure. He bonds well and is a joy to have in the home but is very stressed at home by himself, even if he has another dog to keep him company. Audrey has found relief for Diesel with an inexpensive medicine called Trazodone so his new family could consider continuing this medication. She has also been able to leave him with a pet sitter in times she needs to go out and about without Diesel.
However, Diesel is a great companion on trips into town and does great meeting people and other dogs at events such as Art Hop, Farmers Market, and going to the Brewery. Diesel gives a growl warning around handsy kids so he prefers adults to be his family. He loves his family deeply and will nestle himself into your lap and love you forever.
Diesel is house trained and is now learning how to signal to his owner when he has to go. The only accidents he has in the house are occasional and happen when he is having his separation anxiety reactions.
Diesel is very fun and loves to play with dogs and with people. He loves toys and knows how to play with toys independently. Audrey had his DNA completed and Diesel is mostly Chihuahua with some Pittie and a hint of Husky which gives him his stunning blue eyes. This little boy wants to be the apple of his family's eye and he deserves it! Time for Diesel to find the right landing spot and we are confident he's going to show you all the love you're hoping to find in a pint-sized pooch. Call or text Audrey at 512-621-6406 to discuss Diesel to see if he is a good fit for your family.
