Bear Cub is a wonderful, loving cate that had a rough start to life. Bear cub was born in 2003 at the Refuge. His very young mother had been abandoned while she was carrying him and two siblings. We rescued the mom who delivered her three babies several days afterwards. Bear cub was the smallest of the kittens and much too weak to get his share of the milk. When the volunteers realized that his life was in danger, they started to bottle feed him. Soon afterwards, Bear Cub's black hair was no longer matted and it became shiny and silky . After a week of bottle feeding, Bear Cub became strong enough to claim his share of the milk.
Bear Cub has thrived living at the refuge but would love a home of his own. He enjoys getting attention and grooming by the volunteers and is so bear-cuddly like. He really lives up to his name.
Bear Cub needs to be an indoor-only cat.
