Hello, I'm Brindle. I'm a beautiful tortoiseshell with an orange stripe on the left side of my nose. I'm a senior fur-lady now, at 16 years old. Long ago, I was abandoned and it affected me deeply. My abandonment caused me to be extremely cautious and untrusting of humans. It's been such a relief to live with my other feline friends at Desert Haven, where the humans are very kind and they take care of us. I'm a very sweet elderly feline who gets along well with all my fur-friends. I've had such a hard time getting over my early mistreatment, I hide when the humans come to be with me. My fur-friends and the humans here all encourage me to come from my hiding spot. They offer me treats, they sit patiently and coo to me. I know I'm loved, that's for sure.
