Hello there, I'm Cassie. Today, I will tell you many things about myself in this bio, but first and foremost, what I want you to know, is that I love to nap. If my napping style were entered into the World Championships of Cat Napping, paws down, I would win. I can nap on a window seat, I can nap on a high perch, I can nap in the cool New Mexican winter air. I can even nap while you scoop the poop (thank you for that, by the way, I really really like to be taken care of). I can nap h a r d , right until the very second you walk near me with treats, then, all of a sudden, I will open my peepers to show you that, yes, I do in fact want those treats. OK, now that we've got my penchant for napping out of the way, I can share some more about me. I like to be petted, but since I'm a feline with a bit of a cattitude, I like to be petted on my own terms. I'm not one of those "Please pet me until your fingers start to cramp" types. I like a little petting, then, let's nap. Later on, maybe a little more petting-- then let's have a snack. If you haven't figured it out by now, yes, I'm more of an independent sort. I do love people, yes. Love other cats, yes. A kind, respectful and friendly dog would also be fine by me-- just make sure I have high spots to snooze so I can feel secure. I am a senior at 12 years old but I can still get around and jump up high perfectly well. So, what do you say? Ready to curl up together for a snooze? I'd love that. And I'd love you.
