Hi, my name is Scout, and I think I was born in September 2017. A kind human found me abandoned in an apartment all by myself with no one to care for me. She rescued me, but could not give me a forever home so she brought me to Desert Haven. I am a mixed breed dog with tan coloring and long hair in my ears and on my paws. Although I'm about 1 year old, I only weigh about 11 pounds and will stay a small dog. My new human friends say I look like a mini Shepard. They also say I have a geat personality, very calm and even-tempered. I get along well with other small dogs. I love cats and children ages 2 and above. Please take a chance on me, I would be an easy-going, loyal companion.
