Hi, my name is Coqui! I'm a fun-loving, friendly, affectionate, and confident dog. I am a happy girl with a bouncy yet graceful way of trotting around the play yard, while I sniff and explore. When I sit by you, I like to put my foot on your foot. I like to give you a boop, sort of to check in with you, by giving you a gentle nudge as if to say, "hi there, love ya!". I like being petted, scratched all over, and talked to. I thrive with human affections. I get along fine with other dogs, and am pleasant roommates with a female and a male dog in a large pen here at Desert Haven. Though, I must admit, most times I'm more interested in human friendships, than dog friendships. I really, really want humans of my very own to love and cherish. I'm bright too, learning quickly what is taught to me. It certainly helps to have treats in your pocket, for I am treat-motivated. I'm learning on an agility course here at Desert Haven and I'm one of the stars of the class! I think I would fit into lots of different types of families and I would even be great as a family's first dog. I'm smart and friendly, and would likely adapt quickly to home life. It would be so fun to be one of those dogs that you take everywhere with you. We could have some grand adventures or simply go get a beer and chips on the restaurant patio. And then at the end of a fun day of adventuring, we'll cuddle up together on the sofa for some Netflix. I am a GREAT dog and no one here can believe I haven't been scooped up yet. Wanna be besties?
