Hello there! My name is Scooby-Doo. I bet you noticed my picture and were first drawn to me because I'm a Red Heeler. Or was it my masterful "head tilt" that caught your eye? At any rate, I'm striking, right? Yes, I'm beautiful, sure. I'm smart too, of course. I'm sturdy and agile, you know it. Actually I'm all the things you'd expect in an Australian Cattle Dog, and more! Allow me tell you all about myself. I love to go for walks. When I see my leash, I do a happy dance! I like to learn from you and I like to have a job to do. Though I sometimes warm up slowly (my breed does tend to be cautious you know) I do learn quickly so all you need is a little bit of patience while I take in and adapt to my new environment. I've lived in a home with dogs and cats and did well. I'm about 2-3 years old. I love going for car rides. Most of all, I really like to be affectionate and have your approval and love. Right now, I'm stationed at Desert Haven Animal Refuge where the people here are wowed by my gentle and sweet nature, my smarts, and my ability to overcome my worries when I'm set up to succeed. I really enjoy being outside as well as inside the house. So I hope to have a family of my own that has outdoor space to romp and play during the day and a cozy lap to cuddle up by in the evenings.
