Hi! I'm Duke. I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a good, good boy. Some people call me, A Gentle Giant. I think what this refers to is a combination of my size and my temperament. Regarding my size, I'm 59 pounds right now, but the people here are trying to put a little more meat on my tall frame. Now, for my temperament. I take treats nicely; I have a soft mouth. I jump a bit but mostly know to stay down, though this is nothing a little training can't solve. I'm a happy and friendly young fur-boy. I meet people nicely. You will probably say, "He's such a good, good boy" when you meet me. I really love to lean against you while you pet me. I like touch and am fine being touched all over, You can touch my tail, the pads of my paws, under my armpits, whatever. I am gentle and tolerant. I am playful too. I know how to play fetch and I love it! I play fetch with balls and squeak toys and plushie toys. Throw a toy for me and I will chase it and then bring it right back to you and drop it at your feet. I like to go for walks. I already have decent leash-walking skills; I don't pull. You will be very pleased and proud when you take me out for a walk in the neighborhood.
