Hello, I'm Shiloh! I am an adventurous fur-girl. I like to explore and climb and jump. I love to play with toys and other kitties. I am so interested in the adult cats too! The volunteers here at Desert Haven have us kittens in a separate area but I really want to be with the Big Kids. I think I would love to be in a family with other cats and maybe dogs too. The more the merrier! Right now I stay very busy adventuring in my new environment at Desert Haven, and I am also very interested in the humans here. I like to watch them when they come take care of me. I stay close to them, but I am not yet brave enough to walk up to them for petting. I still do a little bit of hiding when the humans come around. But these volunteers here are persistent so they pick me up to snuggle me even when I try to hide! What I realized is this: I love to snuggle with them! Color me surprised! I'm still very young so I will have my spay surgery on August 5. I am living at Desert Haven and the people here say I can go home as soon as I am fixed and have my necessary vaccinations. So I can go to my adoptive home shortly after August 5! I'm very excited to have a family that wants me to grow up with them and will keep me safe from harm-- that means that I must be an indoor-only kitty. You'll need a tiny bit of patience with me so I can keep learning that humans are safe and then I will definitely be eager for petting and snuggles.
