Hello, I'm April! I'm a gorgeous fur-girl with a heart of pure gold. I tend to jump right in and let myself fall in love very quickly. I'm very much the type of girl who wears her heart on her (furry) sleeve. I really like people. Though I might take a few minutes to warm up, when I know you're a safe person, I'm very friendly from that point on. I love petting and being close to you. I will follow you around while we go for walks, staying right near your heels, like a good girl should. I have gotten along well with other dogs here at Desert Haven so I would make a good companion dog or be happy as an only dog too. I have a gentle and sweet personality so I might be good around cats too. If you have a cat, I am sure the kind volunteers here will cat-test me to find out how I react around them. I hope to find a home and family that wants to have me close by and wants to love me forever. I will reward my family with the kind of dog-love they've been dreaming about. Could you be my family?
