Hello there! I'm Tyrus. I am a good-looking fur-boy who really enjoys affection. I like to curl up next to my people. I am very lovable. I am a sweet boy and I get along great with other dogs. I live in a pen with a large dog and get along well with her. I think I'd make a good companion for a dog. The Desert Haven volunteers take me on walks and spend time with me. I love going on walks! One of the volunteers is a jogger and so we go jogging together. She thinks I’d make a fantastic running partner. If you are looking for a dog that will help protect your home or alert you to the presence of others, I'm your guy. I have a strong affectionate nature with my people, and I'm also on alert to make sure everyone in our family stays safe. I love with all my heart and in this way, I form strong bonds with my family members. I am a very loyal dog. Because I have a territorial instinct, if you like to have a lot of company over to your house, I will need support from you to help me warm up to our house guests.
