Hello hello! My name is Pinion and good golly have you ever found yourself a prize of a Chihuahua. I'm going to describe myself and you may think you have hit the jackpot, and you'll be right. Here we go! When I am excited to see you or just happy in general, I'll spin around in circles. I do get really happy to see my people, so you're likely to see this fun dance I like to do. I am really well behaved in the car and I love to go where ever you go. I'm a really loyal boy and attach strongly. Once I know who my person is, I won't leave you. So hopefully we can go fun places together sometimes. However, when there are places you'll go that I can't, I do a great job staying home on my own. When left for short periods, I stay quiet and refrain from barking. Isn't that great!? I'm smart and I know the commands: stay, scoot (for scooting over when you get into the car with me), and stand (for getting on my harness). A gentle reprimand is all I need to know you want my behavior to change (I don't need a raised voice to listen to you). I aim to please! I'll sleep at night in my kennel if I must, but of course I prefer sleeping in bed under the covers with you. Regarding furniture, because I am a Great Dog, I feel it's only fair that I be allowed on the furniture. I have no interest in swimming so we don't have to worry about that nonsense. I currently live in a home with three grandchildren that have been visiting for an extended period of time (ages 10, 8, and 4). I am very good with the children. If my person is busy I will sit with the children and I wag my tail when I see those cute kids. When the kids get wild and crazy, which happens inevitably, I just retreat to another room or to my kennel to escape the madness. Lastly, I walk great on the leash and enjoy the out-of-doors. I like taking short walks or exploring the yard. I don't pull on the leash and I stay quiet even if there are other dogs barking in my direction.
