Hi there, I'm Harley! I'm a little darling with a soft spot for cuddling. I love being close to my people and snuggling up. If someone asked me about the Very Best Day I could ever imagine, I think it would go like this: Picture a lazy Saturday together. You and me sleeping in. Then we'll go out for a walk or a romp in the yard. You will complement me on my leash-walking-perfection. Before breakfast, you'll ask me to sit and wait and show you what a Good Listener I am. I will happily comply because pleasing you is at the top of my list. We'll play fetch because I love it and I'm actually really good at bringing the toy right back to you so you can throw it again. Next we might watch the morning news together on the sofa. We would sit close so I can feel your heartbeat. After our sofa session you might have some work to catch up on or maybe you're painting the kitchen, so this is the time that I will busy myself with a chew toy or a nap or some yard exploration on my own. Before I head outside I'll give you a love-nudge to say I like the paint color you picked. P.S. I need a little help building up my independence skills. As I'm told, I'm what they call a "Stage Five Clinger". I love my person to pieces and prefer to be stuck like glue together verses doing my own thing all by my lonesome. However, I do want to increase my independence skills and be less clingy so I can lose that icky no-good little title. I'd much prefer being known as "Perfect Ten Dog"! To carry on with the best day ever, next we'd probably have a play-date with a fun dog because I get along well and it's just awesome to romp around with dogs. To finish up our special day, we'll stare into each other's eyes and you'll remind me that I'm the Goodest Boy. I wonder if you'll read me a bedtime story? Hahahah I know I took it too far there LOL but we don't need to be ruling anything out when we're just brainstorming our favorite day now do we?
