Hello there, I'm Jet! I am a puppy who had a bit of a rough start to my life. I was found wandering around without any people to call my own. Since I was found, I have been helped by some good and decent people along the way, before I made it here to Desert Haven. Thank goodness! And now the volunteers here at Desert Haven are making it their mission that I learn all about being a care-free and well-loved puppy. So now I'm just a little under-experienced. Here are a few examples of what that means: I just learned what a leash is and I'm already walking perfectly when it's on me. (Now, I do like to play a little "catch-me-if-you-can" game to get the leash on, but once it's on, I walk like right next to you). I take a little time to warm up because I am just now experiencing Human Kindness and I must say it is pretty awesome! I learn well from other dogs. I have some very positive puppy and dog role models in my life here. When I'm with my dog-friends, I learn so well from them. I come out of my little shell and I romp and play and chase and love life! When my dog friend is around, I go up to the volunteers with more confidence and they pet me and I even will give a few kisses! PEOPLE KISSES! Oh wow, they sure make me feel loved and happy. The good people and dogs here agreed to keep helping me learn regular puppy behavior and fun antics so I know I am well on my way to becoming exactly who I'm meant to be. They think it might be nice for me to be in a home with another dog that can continue to help as I learn the ropes of being a care-free-and-loved-dog. Do you think your home the right one for me?
