"Once upon a time there was a beautiful and graceful grey-and-white fabulous feline (yours truly) who had a Great Life. She frolicked and napped and found sunny spots to enjoy while she lived happily with her Mom and furry-feline-brother. Then one day, sadly, her Mom's health took a turn for the worse and Cinder could no longer live with her mom. Fortunately, a knight in shining armor helped her get to safety at Desert Haven." Are you ready for the part where I'm Super Brave? Well, learning new surroundings isn't always easy for a cat. But, I've only been living here at Desert Haven for a few short days and I'm already coming out of my safe spot to let the volunteers pet me! If you understand the Psychology of Cats, you will know how incredibly brave that is. I am proud of myself and the volunteers here tell me I'm really courageous. And I know I am going to be alright.
