Hello there! I'm Tiny Betty and I have a funny name for my breed mix: Chug, which is short for Chihuahua and Pug. Ha ha ha it makes me giggle when people refer to me as a Chug. First, it makes me think of chugging a frosted mug of sun tea on a hot summer day in the desert. So refreshing, right? Well, get this -- I'm actually just as a refreshing of a dog too! Here's what I mean by that: I'm welcoming with my friendliness and I'm invigorating because of my happy-go-lucky personality. So, the imagery of chugging a tea on a hot day really fits with how I will make you feel when you meet me. When people refer to me as a Chug, I also think about a train, chugga chugga choo choo. But I can't really think of how I'm similar to a train chugging along the track. Well, I guess if you ask the people here who fix breakfast and give me the on-a-diet portions, they MIGHT have said I'm sort of rectangle-shaped, similar to the shape of a train. But guess what!? I've already lost a few pounds and I'm nearly at my ideal weight! All I need now are a daily walk with my new family to keep me slim and trim! I love love love going for walks! When I see the leash, I do a little dance and stand at attention in order to get leashed up to go. I walk nice and just really enjoy being in the out-of-doors with you. Basically, I'm a Chug who will tug at your heartstrings every day with how sweet, happy, friendly and wonderful I am. Let's meet soon so we become chums!
