Hi! I'm Darby! I'm a friendly and talkative boy-cat. When you come to meet me, you will notice me right away when you arrive at Desert Haven. I am strikingly good-looking for sure, but I'm also just really into people and being close by the action. I'll come right up to you and say hello! I'm very friendly around all my cat-friends that I live with here at Desert Haven. I've lived with dogs too and they think I've pretty darn easy to live with too. Dogs, cats, and humans alike -- everyone reports that I am a very pleasant cat to be around. I love to give affection and be snuggled. I like nothing more than to fall asleep on the sofa next to you while we watch television. Well, truth be told, I like pizza the same amount as I like snuggling. And Cheetos. Well, any food really! When you're eating pizza and yummy things, I will gladly have a nibble. I love food and treats! When I'm not napping and being independent (i.e. napping) I will follow you around like a puppy-dog. I'll tell you what I'm thinking and I really enjoy having conversations. I not only communicate with my voice but I use my paws to communicate also. I am able to convey quite a lot of information -- won't it be fun to love such a bright, inquisitive, and communicative kitty-cat!? I certainly am a curious fellow who simply likes to be part of the day-to-day activities in my home. When I'm not napping that is. Napping is an activity I partake in quite a bit, I'm a cat remember! Sure, sometimes you'll think I'm a puppy-dog when I sneak food from your plate at the dinner table, but other times I'm quite cat-like. Siesta time! When I'm awake, I also enjoy playtime and toys. I like wand toys and other fun toys and playtime with people. I can chase a sunbeam on the screen-porch like nobody's business! So, here we are. You're looking for a great cat. I'm looking for a great family. You want a cat with a Big Cool Factor. You'll not find a cooler cat than me. I have a good feeling about this. I think we're going to be great friends.
