This is Cinnamon. She is John's dog but he needs to rehome her. John's phone number is 575-740-7635. He will accept call (leave a voicemail) and text. John has had Cinnamon since she was a puppy and she will be 7 years old in January 2022. His physical limitations are making it too hard for him to take her on walks and interact physically with her. She is a spayed dog and, if she is not, John can bring her up to date on vaccinations before adoption.
John says this about Cinnamon: She loves to be talked to and she listens and pays attention to a conversation. She is a Chihuahua mix of 9 pounds. She's very playful and fun and loves toys, tug, and being with her person. She likes to have her belly rubbed and to take naps. Cinnamon loves to lay in the recliner with John watching TV.
She's house trained and good with indoor cats. She may chase stray cats outside if they run from her. She is good with dogs but is an alpha. She won't start any quarrels but she won't back down from a fight if another dog starts one with her.
John said that Cinnamon has always been with him so he thinks that it will be hard on her to live in a new home so she wants Cinnamon to have an adopter who understands her feelings and takes good care of her.
She initially barks at strangers in a friendly "hey who are you -- will we be new friends?" sort of way. She stops barking then warms up quickly.
Cinnamon is a well loved, well behaved dog who needs a new family who can take her for walks which she loves or has a fenced yard for exercise.
Call John to discuss adopting Cinnamon. John's phone number is 575-740-7635. He will accept call (leave a voicemail) and text.
She is listed for adoption as a courtesy of Sierra County Humane Society and there is no adoption fee for adopting Cinnamon.
