Hi! I'm Sky! I cannot wait until I am adopted because I am the type of girl-dog that fits into so many different settings. Want to go for a hike? I'm your girl. Your friend wants us to have a play date with their new puppy? I'm game. Ready to hit play on that new movie on Netflix? Let's snuggle up together when you're done popping your microwave popcorn. Oh! Change your mind and want to hit up the brewery for a beer on their patio? That sounds like fun, let's go! See what I mean? Because I am one of those go-with-the-flow types of dogs, I have a nice variety of options for togetherness. I have a great reputation here at Desert Haven for being a dog that gets along with other dogs, meets people in a friendly way, is smart and learns quickly, and loves to give kisses. I have had several different roommates while living here at Desert Haven and gotten along with them. I share space well. We can eat together, lounge and play together, and sleep in the same area. This means I have great potential to join a resident dog as a nice companion. I can also be added to a household as a first dog and you can lavish all your love onto me. I love people too. Being petted, being close and leaning into your body are some of my favorite things to do. I am responsive to people and I listen. I am smart and I enjoy learning and having you teach me what you want me to do. Learning is fun and it makes me happy to please people. I like car trips and watching out the window as the world passes by. There is a volunteer here that really enjoys my company and she's taken me to the flea market and to the park. I met some teenagers and was really good around lots of different types of people. I loved the outings as there were so many new things to sniff and explore. What fun we had! I'm a friendly and happy girl, with a sweet personality. Some describe me as well-balanced and I think they're right. I have high hopes that my new family is going to find me soon and I will keep my chin up while I wait. I really don't think it's going to be too long of a wait, do you? Oh!
