Hello! I'm Sylvester! Many interested people wanting to adopt a cat decide to search for a beautiful lap-cat. There are many rescued beautiful lap-cats in the world. I live with several of these beautiful lap-cats cats right here at Desert Haven, namely KC, Darby, Vinnie, Paul. They're good eggs and you should come to meet them if you're the "lap-cat" type of interested person. And there are also many rescued beautiful cats that are eager for companionship but aren't yet ready to accept human touch. That's me. Yes, I'm very beautiful. No, I'm not a lap kitty. Does that make me less deserving of a home and family? Nope. It just means I have to find that special group of humans that are very patient and will love me anyway and that want to give me house and home without a lot of expectations for affection. Will I be affectionate in time? Oh yes. Do we know the timeline? No. But I have been affectionate and enjoyed petting from my special and patient friend Allison who rescued me from the wild. So I have good potential because I have a proven track record for accepting and enjoying Allison's care and loving touch. I know there are interested people out there that have a rescue heart inside of them that whispers, "hey there, you are a patient and loving person, you have a quiet home, you could take in a scared kitty-cat that needs time and space, let's do it". I know what kind of cat I am and I know what type of home I need. I find it best to be honest about it. So, what type of interested person are you? Love, Sylvester
