Hello there! I'm Frankie! Ready for a cool story? Sit back, relax, and get to know me. It's a good story and will eventually have a Happy Beginning and that's where you come in!
I'm on the younger side, the people taking care of me say "not a kitten but under two years old". I'm a tabby boy, and though I appear to be fully grown, I'm on the smaller side. Speaking of my appearance, I look quite like a Creamsicle -- my fur is a gorgeous orange color with hints and stripes of delicious cream throughout. When you meet me you'll want to have a little bite of me I'm so dreamy. Oooh maybe I'm more like a Dreamsicle!
I have a soft short coat and I groom myself very well. Enjoy it actually. I'm often caught in an embarrassing self-groom position by the volunteers here at Desert Haven. You know the look right? Where I'm all twisted around licking places that need a spot of cleaning? Yes, that's me, Mr. Clean Creamsicle!
Next up is my personality. I was caught in a live trap on the grounds at Desert Haven. The good people there had heard me crying one night, set out the trap for me, and I was in it by morning. Boy howdy was I frightened! The way I was acting they were pretty sure I hadn't experienced the joy yet of kind human touch. But when they had me at the vet for my exam, shots, and neuter surgery the vet made a comment that I had calmed down. With that comment, the vet gave them some extra hope that I had once been tame and friendly. So I went into foster care with a patient person who, in fact, helped me learn to LOVE human touch again! Now, I will sit in her lap and be snuggled. I purr and push gently into those head and neck scratches. Oh gosh, I am so happy to be friendly again and I am welcoming to love. It feels good!
Now that you know about my appearance (gorgeous), grooming habits (impeccable), and personality (friendly and happy) what do you say? Do I sound like the cat for you?
This is the most exciting time in my life! Come meet me and give this yummy Creamsicle a taste. Love, Frankie
