Hello! My name is Lee! Mine is a straightforward and simple name and it's perfect for a young fellow like me who enjoys the simple things in life: a good petting session, a nice lap to snuggle into, a bit of canned food, and a cozy family that loves me. I'm a friendly and cuddly chap of about two years old, as estimated by the veterinarian in my recent health check-up. The good doctor found that I'm in tip-top shape -- clean ears, clear skin, eyes alert and ready to taking in my new surroundings here at Desert Haven. I liked that doctor. I didn't fuss at all when they were poking and prodding at me to make sure I'm healthy. I just let them go about their business because I'm simply a chill sort of guy. It's a jolt, though, to be in a new place, with a bunch of other cats to adjust to. But I'm a pretty well-adjusted and secure dude and so I'm handling all this newness with my usual aplomb. Do you know that word? It's one of my favorites. It means: self-confidence or assurance, especially when in a demanding situation. That's me alright! Full of aplomb with a capital A! Yep, I'm cool as a cucumber. New cats to get to know? Check. New smells to take in? Check. New family to love me forever and make me theirs? Heyyy this one is not yet crossed off the list!
