About Bandit

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
Bandit is a 5 year old purebred German shepherd. If interested in more information or to adopt Bandit, please contact Courtney via call or text at 732-616-3454. Bandit is a great dog who needs a new home as Bandit's owner has just passed away. Bandit was very bonded to his owner so he is feeling sad and confused. Bandit's extended family is seeking a new home and family for him quickly as he will bond well again and that will help him as he grieves. Bandit is up to date on vaccinations. He is not neutered. He is friendly when he meets people. Bandit is a bit of a goofball but he has not been himself since his owner died. Bandit's new family will be tasked with the rewarding role of helping him regain his playfulness and his effervescent and fun personality. Bandit lives in Las Cruces NM and the family will drive him to his new home if a suitable, solid, and safe forever home is found outside of the Las Cruces area. Distance isn't an issue for this family as they love this dog and want the very best home for him. Because Bandit has been unsettled since his owner passed away he would do best with a family that can give him extra attention during this time. He has spent the 5 years of his life living on a farm so Bandit loves being outside almost more than inside and likes to have a job to do. He gets along great with other dogs both large and small/male or female and shows no prey drive with the cat in his current home. He is quite a large boy, approx 100lbs, so would do best in a home with no kids or older kids. Because Bandit is mainly outside or in the yard/barn and he likes it so much outside, he hasn't had formal house training and the family does not know how long it would take to house-train him if he's to be kept indoors. Bandit would do well in a decidedly outdoor/indoor home. If interested in more information on Bandit, please contact Courtney quickly via call or text at 732-616-3454.
