Hi there! I'm Poppie! I am a straight-shooter and don't mince words so I am just going to lay it all out on the line here in my autobiography since I think it's better to be honest so I can find the best family for me. I need a few things in this life to keep me happy, satisfied, well-loved, and safe. First, and most importantly, warm and cozy laps. I am a Lap Girl through and through so if you are someone who loves a lot of affection and has room on your lap for me -- let's talk! Secondly, supervision and engagement is a must for me when I'm outside in the yard. If you're the type of person who will put me outside without supervision, we are not going to be a good fit. I want to connect. I want to be engaged with my family. I want to play, lounge together, stare into each others eyes whispering Sweet Nothings. I want the people in my life to know where I am, how I am, and pay attention to me inside the house and outside the house. My previous family didn't pay enough attention to me and I slipped away several times and had to be caught by Animal Control to keep me safe. That's right!! Caught by Animal Control! How embarrassing!! Not to mention so incredibly unsafe for me. That is not the life I want to have again. I am a super sweet, happy-go-lucky, well mannered and happy little lady (around 4-5 years old and 20 lbs) so it will not be a problem for you to pay attention to me. You will want to be with me loving me, playing with me, snuggling with me -- I promise! And I'm great with kids! I love them and roll over onto my back so they can pet my belly! I'm awesome and everyone who meets me loves me! And I love everyone! I am very friendly to people I meet and I've done great with dogs and cats too. I am an all around Great Girl and I cannot wait to join my new family and become the absolute Apple of Your Eye! Love, Poppie
