Hi there friends! My name is Keno and I call you friend already because I'm a happy-go-lucky boy puppy who loves everything and everyone! I'm around one-year-old and 30 pounds. I haven't grown any in several months so the good people taking care of me said I'm all grown up size wise. Manners wise, they said I still have some growing to do, hee hee! And I think I know what they meant by that. You see, I'm still young and learning so I do jump up on people when I meet them. My foster family is doing a great job teaching me to keep four on the floor but I still have a little ways to go in learning my lessons. Remember, I'm a puppy! I have been around small children and am probably too jumpy for them as a small child might get knocked over in my exuberance for life. I would definitely mean no harm at all to children because I love them a lot but I am a Heeler so who knows I might be prone to herding little kids. Sidenote: I bet I'd chase cats. Probably not to harm them either but if they run, I'll chase so keep that in mind if you have a cat. Now I'm going to share with you all the lessons I've mastered! I'm house trained and crate trained. I'm calm and good in my crate. You probably shouldn't put bedding in it though as I might chew on blankets. I'm great with dogs of all sorts and I have a lot of fun at the dog park playing and romping with new and old doggie friends. Sometimes I bark but I do a nice job listening to my person to stop with the noise. In general, I'm easy to correct, I pay close attention to my people, I'm treat-motivated, and I love to be engaged in everything I get to do. In all cases, I'm a love-bug and have a sweet as pie nature about me. I'm simply a happy boy with a lot of love to give! And I'm just happy to be with you!
