Hello, I am Pepper and I'm a positively palsy-walsy little lady! When I was snuggling with the volunteer who types up our bios, she was flipping through her thesaurus for synonyms for "very friendly". She came across palsy-walsy and we both knew immediately it fit me perfectly. Here is what palsy-walsy means: kissy-huggy, lovey-dovey, buddy-buddy, chummy, affectionate. For goodness sake we could not have dreamed up a better word to describe me. Jackpot!

Case-in-point: I'm a world champion hugger. The second I meet a new person I'm giving hugs. If I would have been a human living during the height of the pandemic I would have been one sad panda if I couldn't lean on people and have physical close affection.Thankfully I'm a dog and so I can hug and kiss and snuggle til the cows come home.

Chummy is also a great adjective for me because I'm great friends with dogs and enjoy my doggy friend roommate at Desert Haven. We play and romp and sleep together. Friends are fun in people and dog forms! I'm not a one trick pony though, I don't just sit around cuddling all day (but that sounds great to me!) I also like hunting lizards, chasing toys, snoozin, going for walks, meeting people, chewing on bones and burying them for later, being snuggled by children, and going on adventures. I am an all-around Great Girl!
